Our Approach

Social Justice at the Core:

• We infuse social justice principles into every aspect of our curriculum and training 
• programs. Many of the innovations that make our lives easier were made by people of color. Their contributions are not celebrated in the same way in many American schools. This ensures that learners learn academic content, develop a deep understanding of societal issues, and commit to making a difference. 

Inclusive Curriculum Design:

• Our curriculum development process is rooted in inclusivity. We create learning materials that reflect diverse perspectives, cultures, and experiences, fostering a sense of belonging for every student.

Empowering Educators:

• Our teacher training programs equip educators with the tools, knowledge, and skills to facilitate inquiry in dynamic and socially conscious classrooms. When teachers are empowered, they, in turn, empower their learners. 

Hands-On, Culturally Responsive Experiences:

• Our curriculum emphasizes hands-on, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, experiential learning that supports the development of the whole child. Learners engage in project-based learning that reinforces academic concepts and inspires them to explore solutions that contribute to society and are aligned to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. Additionally, they engage in experiences that taps into social emotional learning to support them in their activism and figuring out what it means to be a responsible global citizen.
